Moving Day

Well, the final day was here. It still amazes me how much we were able to accomplish in just two weeks. Most of the house was packed up into boxes and ready to be loaded in the cars and truck!
Savannah would be driving her car filled with all the things she would be taking out to college.
We put a bunch of boxes in my car and then rented a truck for as many boxes and bins as we could fit.
Savannah took a little break from loading to say goodbye to her best friends, Michaela and Mary.
With a lot of help from our wonderful neighbors, we finally had everything packed up and ready to go.
Time for some final pictures. One last time of all of us in front of our wonderful home of 15 years!
When the Brundridges had moved to California, we had taken a picture of all the kids. Luckily for us they moved back but now it was our turn. So, the kids decided it would be fun to recreate that goodbye picture from years before. I wish I had the picture to put on here to show how much they have all grown.
The Brundridges moved in 6 months after us so our kids have grown up together. So many memories, so many good times spent together. We will truly miss this family!
We're ready to go!
We decided to hit Rita's just one more time!
Bright and early on August 25, 2020. Our sweet neighbors came out to say goodbye and it was a tough one. Tears were shed, that's for sure.
Our caravan making the final drive down Foreland Garth!
