Game Day at Hillsdale

Another Game Day invite for Xander, this one up at Hillsdale. Poor Xander was still dealing with the loss the night before as well as his injured achilles but we made the best of it. We got a super early start since it's just over 3 hours away but got to enjoy the beautiful sunrise as well as some Dunkin'.

I could not believe my eyes when the lights started flashing and the rails went down. An actual train!

It's a long drive through the boonies.

We spent the morning with other prospective players touring the athletic facilities, meeting with coaches and watching film, and eating lunch. Pre-game we headed down to the field to watch the players warm up and talk to a few more coaches. It was a cold, windy, wet day!

Unfortunately for Hillsdale they ended up losing but we had a great time watching the game which was a close one.

Lots of rain and lightning on the drive home.

We got an early start for Hillsdale!
