Game day at Mount St. Joseph

Xander was invitied to attend a Mount St. Joseph football game and we had a great time! Since we'd already been there on a visit, Xander didn't need to take the tour the other athletes were taken on so we just walked around by ourselves.

It was such a beautiful day!

On his first visit it had been pouring rain so this time we soaked up some sun and enjoyed wandering around outside. We all got such a great feeling about the school, just like the first time we were there.

Xander got to be on the sideline for warm ups.

Before the game, the team captain came running over to Xander and gave him a high five. Xander was one of two prospective players (and there were at least 30-40 guys there) that the head coach talked to pre-game. He introduced himself to us and talked about Springboro's season. It was quite a compliment to Xander. I have a feeling they really want him.

Although the stadium and stands are more like a high school, it was a great atmosphere, the fans were super excited about the game and their team, and we felt really good about the whole experience. One fan even introduced himself to Xander and wanted to know all about him and expressed the hope that he would choose to come play at Mount St. Joe. MSJ ended up destroying the other team so we left mid third quarter. Overall, it was a great experience! Xander is going to have a tough decision ahead of him.
