Gettin' Summer Started!

I LOVE summer! One of the first activities was a Sunday night fireside...and it was an actual fireside!
The poor ants stranded on the log.
The youth and leaders each shared his or her favorite scripture and why it meant so much. I was so touched by some of the scriptures and experiences shared by our amazing young men and young women.
After the spiritual it was time for some smores!
Jared chugged the grape soda.
Had to grab some group photos.
Once school ended, early morning swim started. None of us were thrilled about the 6:30 practice time and the boys hate the cold water but somehow we got there every single morning.
The team picture...
and a silly one thrown in for fun.
The meets also started and, since I was once again a stroke and turn official, I grabbed pictures when I could.
Heat winner!
Savannah's 6v6 high school soccer league started...
and Xander finished up baseball.
Trying to keep Ben Wardle from advancing bases...
and sharing some laughs with his buddy Savion.
Xander once again really enjoyed playing with his team!
In June we got to attend the sealing of the Gallumbachs, a very special couple in our ward. I contacted Elder Anderson who had been the one to find them while serving his mission and he and his mom came out for it. What an awesome day spent with people we love!
That Elder Anderson...what a goofball!
He came to sacrament meeting at our ward on Sunday and my kids were thrilled to see him.
Looks like he could fit right in with our family!
Definitely have to have a few fun lunches out!
And with summer, bring on the goofing around!
