A Princess Party

The Mia Maids had such a fun class activity to kick off May - a princess party for the primary girls in our ward, ages 3 to 7. Most of them wore fancy dresses, including our stylish young women. The girls decorated crowns...
and then they got fancied up even more with some makeup...
and glitter in their hair.
The girls LOVED using the props and taking some pictures!
Time to discuss princess etiquette! How to sit, how to wave, and, according to one of our little princesses, make sure you NEVER pick your nose!
Every little princess got a chance to walk the red carpet and practice her princess wave!
Such a cute group of girls!
We decided to take the girls on a royal procession around the church.
When we went outside, the young men applauded the princesses...
and then started bowing to them. It was so sweet and made our princesses feel extra special.
Back to the gym for games...
and dancing.
David came in for a quick visit with the princesses...
and to get a picture.
We finished off the evening with yummy refreshments.
My amazing Mia Maids did such a great job planning and executing this amazing party and all the little princesses had the best time.
They just couldn't resist a few more pictures!
Later in the month we had a fun combined activity that involved some serious games of four square.
By this point Savannah had ditched those annoying crutches and was getting active again.
Of course, Xander and his buddies could play spike ball all night!
Time to switch up games.
And while we are at youth activities, Noah spends his Tuesday evenings at scouts.
