Goodbye Elementary School

I remember when Noah was much, much younger and he was so extremely active and tiring and difficult and I had to keep repeating to myself, "2012", because that was the year he would go to kindergarten and I would get some much needed rest. It seemed like such a long time in coming and then finally, off he went to kindergarten. And now, poof! he's done with elementary school. It's almost too incredible to believe how quickly these years have gone.
Graduation day - June 14, 2018.
Heading to his seat after receiving congratulations from his principal, Dr. Gerringer.
Receiving a certificate for participating in the Patriots Program.
Standing and being recognized for being a teacher helper - for Noah, he helped out in gym and loved it!
One of my favorite parts of the graduation ceremony - each student gave their parents a carnation for all their love and support throughout the elementary school years. Tears.
Ms. Staton, Noah's teacher, gave a fabulous talk.
There it is - receiving his graduation certificate!
The students' favorite part was seeing all the baby pictures. Noah and I struggled on picking just the right one but this has definitely got to be one of my favorites of him.  All the kids got a big laugh out of it which was what Noah was going for.
Time for hugs and lots of pictures.
I couldn't have asked for a more perfect teacher for my Noah.
The three musketeers.
After the ceremony the kids were able to change, the parents could grab lunch, and we all met back for an outdoor picnic. Noah took two bites of food and then ran off to hang with his friends. That's basically how it's gone with every picnic lunch.
These three goofballs!
And of course they had to go bug Ms. Staton.
That woman is a saint!!
My last one at this school. It's been so good to us! Tears again.
Since they were allowed to leave early we had Parker and Marty come hang at our house for awhile.
A final look at those certificates!
