Savannah's Sweet Sixteen

This cute girl celebrated her sweet 16 this year!

Savannah's last night of driving school fell on her birthday (yes, I was the mean mom who still made her attend that session) so she got to open presents before she went.

We love her so much we bought her the hideously ugly tennis shoes she's been wanting. Driving school on her birthday vs. large stomping tennis shoes that she adores...it all balances out!

She also had a special friend, Chris, over to celebrate. He was over most of the afternoon, watching a movie with her and then staying for the gift opening to which he contributed several of his own.

Later that night we were able to complete the celebration with strawberry pie.
