Cherishing These Times

We always have such a wonderful time in Cincinnati, making so many sweet memories to keep us going until the next visit.
Breakfast at IHOP is always a favorite...
and this time we added a new restaurant to our list - a Chinese buffet! The kids took full advantage and made multiple trips back to load up on more food, especially the fruit and chocolate waterfall.
They also lived a little dangerously, giving some different foods a try. I couldn't believe they were willing to eat octopus but the proof is in the tentacles, visible in Savannah's mouth! Ewww!
I love Ash's face!
On our last day there we hit the movies to see Incredibles II...
and then grabbed some take out food from several different fast food places. The best thing about this day was the Bullocks had finally arrived back in Cincinnati after visiting DC and we were able to spend the day catching up with them.
Cute cousins!
Thank goodness the rain let up for a few hours in the afternoon so the kids could enjoy one last pool day.
We got to add two more cousins to the jump in picture. Xander might have left a little early on this one, ha ha!
So fun being together!
Ciara and her faces and Xander's hair. Too much!!
A little conga line to end the swim session!
The kids and I were going to spend the night up at the Clarks for our last night so, before we headed up to their house, we decided to take some family pictures. The kids with Grandma and Grandpa...
and then a few shots of the siblings.
We haven't been together in years and it was fun to goof off for a bit. Not sure how it all started and why Kelly and I posed the way we did but Heidi was doing the Ciara pose. Too funny!
Back to normal.
My favorite! It was definitely very hard for me to say goodbye and I got quite emotional.
Although we had an early departure time, the kids talked me into allowing them to stay up and watch Cocoa.

Our time in Cinci always flies by but I'm so grateful that we live close enough to spend time there every summer.
