Cupcake Wars 2018

This summer in Cinci the kids decided to spend most of their days and nights up at the Clarks' house. Some of the highlights included the hot cocoa maker and creamers,

silly cousins,

the movie room with its ginormous screen and comfy chairs,

lots and lots of video game playing,

tasty food,

and spending lots of time together.

This particular afternoon we reinstated the annual cupcake wars! Team girls...

and team boys with me!

Let the baking fun begin!

At some point in the cupcake making process, we discovered how many sugars Heidi has in her pantry, ha ha!!

A little taste-testing is a must!

The final product - a tres leches cupcake by the boys and a banana concoction by the girls.

Time for the judge to make his decision. I think the girls team might have a slight advantage...

And the girls team has it...at least for this year. The boys will be back!
