Wrestling - Elder

We headed down to Cincinnati on a Friday night for a wrestling meet against Elder.

Poor Noah - his first match was against a 215 pound wrestler and he got pinned in the second round. He wrestled hard but it's tough when there's a 25 pound difference.

He was only supposed to have one match for the night but Elder had another 215 pound wrestler that didn't have an opponent on our team so Coach Franz talked Noah into wrestling him.

Unfortunately Noah got pinned again. He was super upset afterwards, especially because his goal this year is to have a winning season and it doesn't make it easy wrestling guys that outweigh you by a lot! But I know he's going to be ok and will keep working hard and find more success as the season goes on. 

We stayed to watch Varsity and it was really exciting. We were short three of our best wrestlers so we ended up not winning but it was sure fun to cheer on our guys.
