A Morning at Plumpton Park Zoo

Whenever ladies from the church post on Facebook that they're going somewhere fun and invite others to join them, I always try to go, especially in the summer when I want to keep my kids busy. This outing was to a local zoo - Plumpton Park Zoo.
This little monkey was a huge hit with the kids. He threw his food bowl at them and kept running all around his cage, acting silly.
Checking out the pretty birds.
This one actually talked to us!
One of the highlights of the zoo is petting and feeding all the different animals.
Noah loved this ginormous tortoise!
We found Kuzco from The Emperor's New Groove!
They even have some tigers there though their cage is not an ideal living situation in my opinion.
Taking a little break in the shade.
This bird and his buddy were LOUD!! And they did this crazy head bobbing move that had us all laughing!
Hangin' out with Catherine, watching the buffalo...
Some weird little trees. They kinda reminded me of those mer-people that Ursula took the souls of.
Definitely one of the biggest, fluffiest bunnies we've ever seen.
Last animal of the day - this cool brown bear!
One last hug for the gorilla!
