We are always so excited when Grandma and Grandpa visit! The night they arrived we headed to one of their favorite places to eat when they're in town, La Tolteca. Check out the size of Noah's burrito!
And of course the main draw is to watch the kids play sports! Thursday Savannah had a game against North East which apparently I only took one picture of.
And I caught her in her ball girl moment after the game. We won 1-0.
Friday Xander and Savannah had games at the very same time. Ugh! But since Savannah is a senior playing in her last high school games, we opted to watch her and her team play against Fallston, the team ranked highest in our conference. We played lousy in the first half - truly, truly bad - and ended up going down 3-0, but we came back with a vengeance in the second half and tried to make a game of it.
I'm proud of Savannah because she really had a great game from start to finish.
Mom and Dad were so hoping to see Savannah score while they were here and they got their wish. In the last few minutes of the game Savannah got a great cross and went in hard for the score. Capturing a goal in pictures.
Savannah's goal was the only one we got and we ended up losing 4-1, the worst loss we had all season. Fallston is tough!
Meanwhile, over in Xander's game, he played like a beast! He had 4 tackles and 3 sacks!!! Our guys stomped all over Perryville with a 42-6 win!
