Sports - Week 3

Edgewood vs Hammond

Savannah had a great game with one goal and an assist to Abby.

Our girls came away with the win, 3-0.

Savanah's second game of the week against C. Milton was pushed back in time due to thunderstorms in the area. The skies finally cleared enough for them to start the game but unfortunately, 15 minutes in, the storms were back with a vengeance and the game had to be postponed. It's a shame because our girls were playing so tough!!
Thursday was game day for this guy!

Our turf still hasn't been laid and probably won't be until the beginning of October so our guys have to play in other stadiums. Today it was up at Havre de Grace against Elkton.

X got in for about 5-6 plays and was in on a tackle.

It was an extremely hot day and there was a scary moment when one of our players collapsed on the sideline due to the heat. He was worked on and then an ambulance was called. Thank goodness he was okay. More good news - our team came away with the win!

Time for Noah's game!

This week we got to play against Joppatowne whose team is definitely more on our level. It was a good game and you could see our guys gaining some confidence as we made plenty of tackles and good plays.

Although we lost, the boys had much more fun. It was a close game and our team walked away feeling much better about themselves. Noah kept saying how much fun he had which was music to my ears!
