I was so excited to be back at seminary, especially since we would be studying the Gospels for the fall semester. Being able to spend each morning with these amazing teenagers, studying the scriptures and discussing gospel truths, principles, and doctrines is one of the greatest blessings of my life!
One morning Jared Hardy, a graduated seminary student, channeled his own inner wise man and visited our class bearing delicious gifts!
The kids always appreciate donuts!
Or any tasty treat! Sister Wine sent in her famous chocolate chip pumpkin bread one morning. We are definitely spoiled!
Group work...
hall work...
and gym work. The kids worked through several stations to help them grow in wisdom and stature, just like our Savior.
We participated in a service project! The kids got to write their testimony or a favorite quote or scripture on a piece of paper and place it in a tie that would be given to the wonderful people in Felix's mission in Africa!
A "getting to know John the Baptist" breakfast. Three different flavors to choose from!
More than half the class was brave enough to try the locusts.
Everett's face was priceless! Obviously he was not a fan but several of the kids said they just tasted like chips.
Working in groups to find out more about the Sanhedrin, Pharisees, and Saducees.
And I'm discovering that having a bunch of freshmen boys might be a little more challenging...
We all live for those Friday breakfasts!
I couldn't believe how big the donuts were!!! I told Spencer to hold one up by his head because they were almost as big!
