Our Super Saturday

We had a super busy Saturday while Mom and Dad were visiting but it was definitely one of those days to treasure.
Some basketball instruction from Grandpa as Xander starts to think about upcoming basketball tryouts. I can't think of anyone better to teach Xander the finer points of shooting!
A beautiful Halloween blanket that my mom made for me. She is amazingly talented and knows how much I love Halloween!!
Hayward and his wife Tiffanie came up to see my parents and we all went to lunch at Fridays. It was so fun to visit with them and get to know Tiffanie better as well as play with their cute little girl Charlotte.
After lunch we headed straight up to the football field to watch Noah and his Bucs take on the Bel Air Terps!
And guess what? Mom and Dad must have brought some of that Irish luck with them because our little guys fought their hearts out and came away with their first win of the season! We won by a whopping score of 6-0 but hey, we'll take it.
Our boys were so excited! Check out Noah catching some air!
We've been waiting for a chance to do the tunnel!
I LOVE these pictures! Of course Noah was right in the thick of things!

After the game we hurried home to change and then headed down to the Stake Center for Savannah's Young Women in Excellence dinner and program.
Our handsome server.
Savannah was recognized as one of the young women in the stake to have earned her Young Women medallion.
I'm so proud of her and her love of the gospel. I'm so grateful that she has developed a testimony and strives to live her life in keeping with what Heavenly Father has asked. She's such a lovely girl. What a blessing that Mom and Dad were able to be here for this special event.
