I already wrote about Senior Night but there were three other games this week. Savannah's team played up in Elkton on Monday night so Mom, Dad, and I headed up there to cheer her on. It was a very cold night and our team played one of the worst games they've ever played. Amazingly enough, they still won 1-0. Since it was Elkton's senior night, they honored our seniors as well. This is in fact the only picture I got from the game that night!
On Thursday Xander's JV football team played at home against New Town, an undefeated team from the city. They were tough and their parents were getting super testy in the stands as our guys held them almost the entire game. Xander started both the second and third quarters and had a great game.
He even came up with a fumble recovery!
The game was tied 6-6 with under a minute to go in the game. We had the ball but our quarterback had been hurt so we had the backup in. On the third down he passed the ball which was intercepted and run back for a touchdown. We were soooo bummed! Although we lost 12-6, we were all so proud of the boys for playing this team so well.
The final game of the week was Noah's against Hereford but I had a seminary party to go to so wasn't there to get pictures and David for sure isn't going to take any. His team lost yet again.
