A Trip Around the World

After our late night it was nice to sleep in! About mid-morning we headed over to Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for Savannah's second game of the tournament. Surprise, surprise, we ran into Grant Hill! He wasn't too keen on talking to anyone, including a young girl wearing a Duke sweatshirt who wanted a picture with him. Kinda sad.
Minnie, however, was more than happy to take a picture with me and she's the bigger celebrity anyway.
Game 2 was a tough one!
We entered into the second half down a couple goals and things did not improve.
Despite the loss I was able to coax some smiles out of these two cuties!
After getting cleaned up at the hotel, we headed over to Epcot for the day! This sign in the parking lot definitely gave us some pause...
Ready for another wonderful day at Disney!
We found Stitch for Noah...
and got a hug from Daisy!
Time to spend the afternoon wandering the world. First stop - Mexico!
I LOVED these huge skeletons...
and their dog and cat.
There were so many beautiful things to look at.
Norway!
We love those trolls!
China!
The Chinese dancers were amazing!
On to Germany!
We spent some time wandering through all the little shops.
A pickle tree for Xander.
We wanted to buy some of this caramel popcorn but the lines were just way too long. Epcot was completely packed!
Loved all the cuckoo clocks!
We got some gelati to enjoy as we strolled through Italy.
And then it was on to Japan!
A quick stop in the good 'ole U.S. of A...
and then it was time to wander the streets of Morocco!
We were hoping for a genie.
Watch out for camels...they spit!
Princess Aurora, aka Sleeping Beauty, was very sweet.
Loved being back in France but it wasn't quite the same, ha ha!
A much smaller Eiffel Tower.
Epcot at night is so beautiful and all the Christmas decorations were wonderful.
Time to sample Great Britain!
We're definitely NOT getting this soldier to smile.
Our last country of the night - Canada!
Savannah took a picture of these jammies to send to her old seminary teacher, Brother Foote.
The beautiful mountains and water.
Canada was truly breathtaking! Next time I want to see it during the day.
A few more pictures before heading out.
We had wanted to go to Hollywood Studios but the timing didn't work out so back we went to Magic Kingdom for the rest of the night.
We hit a few spots we didn't get to the previous night.
We had hoped to meet up with some of Savannah's teammates but weren't able to so after a few rides we ate some dinner...
and then had some more fun! The carpet ride turned out to be one of our favorites!
And see? Camels do spit!
Some pirate fun!
There was no one on Splash Mountain so we ended up riding a few times.
We had decided to bunny ears this guy in front of us but I chickened out. Savannah, however, went with it. Hope he wasn't disappointed when he saw the final picture!
Second go round...
I think the girl behind us decided to copy our idea.
Ha ha, we were still soaked from Splash Mountain.  Another amazing day!!
