More Soccer

Edgewood vs Elkton. Monster game for Savannah! She scored her first goal within the first 2 minutes of the game; I wasn't even prepared with the camera at that point! She ended up with 4 goals in the game and Edgewood won, 8 - 0.
One of Savannah's goals caught by another mom who takes pictures. I love how the goalie is still looking at her hands, ha ha!  Savannah's reward for her stellar game was 4 tacos from Taco Bell.
Edgewood's Gold Game (childhood cancer) - Edgewood played Northeast and Savannah had another outstanding game, scoring 4 goals. However, the most memorable moment of this game was when a player on Northeast collided with one of our defenders, Hannah, and broke her leg. I don't think I'll ever forget the sound or her screams. It was absolutely terrible!
Getting past the defender...
and taking a shot!
High fives for the score!
Some fabulous shots of my girl from the mom photographer.
She caught such a great one of Savannah giving Lucia a high five after Lucia scored her first goal.
She also captured the moment after Savannah scored her final goal and went running back, pumping her arms and shouting, "Hannah!"
The gold socks the girls wore for the game were awesome!
So proud of our girls for introducing The Gold Game to Edgewood's soccer season.
