Xander's Homecoming Game

Back to the football field! October 7th was Xander's Homecoming Game. Let's go Bucs!

Probably one of the most favorite parts of the homecoming game!

Xander was chosen to be one of the captains for this game.

On the very first play of the game, Eric received the kickoff and ran it in for a touchdown.

A little instruction from Coach Brad.

Xander doing some blocking! We held them and then quickly scored another touchdown.

At the end of this run by Isaiah, the player who tackled him gave him an extra little shove when he stood up. Isaiah wasn't too happy about that and shoved him back...more shoving ensued and, after sorting all players apart and calming things down, the refs ejected both players. Unfortunately the other team was already shorthanded and, with that player gone, they had to forfeit.

Because we had only played a quarter, both teams wanted to continue playing.  Technically we couldn't so the refs left and the coaches oversaw the "scrimmage". A picture of Xander and Big Chris blocking for their quarterback.
